Erin has over 20 years of experience working in physiotherapy and exercise physiology. His journey began with several years of clinical research in knee surgery with eminent Sydney knee surgeon, Dr Merv Cross, and resulted in co-authoring more than 20 research papers in peer reveiwed journals. He then took a step to retrain in physiotherapy and working initally at Royal North Shore Hospital.

This led to private practice work in both Sydney and London over the following years where he gained skills treating a mix of athletes and performing artists from beginners to the elite level. He was also fortunate enough to work as a physiotherapist at the London 2012 Olympics in the Athletes Village Polyclinic.

Over the years he has come to have a greater appreciation of the bodies’ interconnectivity and the importance of assessing the bodies movement patterns as a whole to help determine the true cause of a problem. He has a special interest in:

  • Knee injuries

  • Thorax and lower limb disorders (including pelvis, knee and ankle pain)

  • Golf and Rowing related injuries and biomechanical assessments

  • Headaches (migraine and cervicogenic)

  • GLA:D Program classes

Erin has a passion for learning and has attended many courses over the years which have given him a wide range of tools to assess and treat his patients (including the many sports specific courses, the thoracic ring approach, muscle energy techniques of the spine and pelvis, dry needling, mulligan concept and kinesiotaping to name a few).

His true passion lies with golf and he is certified with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI, Medical Level 2, Power Level 2) for golf screenings and also holds a Level 1 ASCA Strength and Conditioning qualification. He has completed the Level 3 Sports Physiotherapy course at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra in 2017 and holds a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy from La Trobe University. He is a Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist and a current member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists (MACP).
