OuR APPROACH

It's our goal to make an accurate diagnosis of your injury and to determine WHY it has occurred. If we understand what drives your injury, it is more likely that your treatment and rehabilitation program will be effective in the long term.

To achieve this we will listen to your story, assess your whole body in relation to your injury and empower you to understand and manage your problem independently.

Sports physiotherapy

Managing acute, chronic and overuse injuries.

Manual Therapy

Hands on treatments to restore movement.

Rehabilitation

Restoring balance to your body.

The Team

The Team

Erin Parish

Physiotherapist

Erin has degrees in both Sports Physiotherapy and Exercise Science with 20 years of experience in these fields. He has worked at Royal North Shore Hospital as well as private practices in both Sydney and London. He was a member of the physiotherapy team at the London 2012 Olympics working in the Athletes Village Polyclinic.

Through his experiences in the sporting and private practice worlds he has gained a greater appreciation of the bodies’ interconnectivity and the importance of assessing movement patterns as a whole. His areas of interest include lower limb conditions, thoracic ring and pelvis problems, cervicogenic headaches and sport specific related (squash/tennis, softball, rowing, golf) injuries.

Erin has attended numerous post-graduate courses which have allowed him to acquire a wide range of tools to assess and treat his patients. He has studied the Thoracic Ring Approach and is certified with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI, Medical Level 2) to do golf and SFMA screenings. In 2018 he completed a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe University and is a Titled APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist.

KATE MCLEOD

PHYSIOTHERAPIST

With 20 years of experience in the Physiotherapy field, Kate has learnt that one of the key questions to be asked in managing an injury is WHY that injury has occurred. This has led to an interest in how we move and its effect on our body. She has done numerous post graduate courses with both local and international teachers to continue to understand the complexities of our amazing bodies.

Completing the Connect Therapy Series and Thoracic Ring Approach with Canadian physiotherapist Dr LJ Lee re-enforced her belief that all parts and systems of the body are connected and this has set the challenge of finding the 'driver' for each injury.

Kate has an interest in headaches, lumbar-pelvic pain, chronic lower limb injuries, running and yoga injuries. Re-training optimal movement patterns and returning the body to a state of balance empowers the individual to manage their own injury long term.

She has a special interest in the hypermobile body having been taken on a personal journey of learning with some significantly hypermobile patients.

Her passion is to hear your story and help empower you to understand your body better. Each injury is different because each individual is unique.
