APA Level 1 Pelvic Health
Kate is a Physiotherapist with a Master’s degree in physio and a Bachelor of Science/Arts from the University of Sydney. She is passionate about helping people move better and feel stronger and after several years working with Cure Cancer Australia Foundation and the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse decided to refocus her career into physiotherapy.
She enjoys treating a wide range of conditions and has developed a special interests in Women’s Health. Kate appreciates the unique complexity of working with females, both athletes and general population, and what unique challenges that can entail. Her special interest also extends to working on shoulder and knee joint problems.
Kate holds APA Level 1 Pelvic Health qualification in Women’s Health, with a particular interest in pre- and pos-tnatal care, as well as managing incontinence in the female athlete population. Kate is currently undertaking Level 2 training to continue delivering up-to-date, evidence-based pelvic health care across all stages of women’s lives. Kate is an avid runner and basketball enthusiast, which fuels her passion for helping people return to the activities they love and keeps her grounded in managing these injuries first hand.
