Lucy graduated with a Masters in Physiotherapy after completing a Bachelor in Exercise and Sport Science from Sydney University.
Lucy has worked in multiple leading Sports Physiotherapy practices across Sydney and London. These clinics connected her with leading orthopaedic surgeons providing experience in a wide range of surgeries, both pre-operatively and post-operatively. Lucy has also gained invaluable experience on the sporting field, working with premier Sydney AFL clubs (East Coast Eagles and North Shore) as the lead physiotherapist. Working in this environment, Lucy has come to value an active treatment approach to empower her patients.
More recently, Lucy has branched out into the corporate world, assessing work place ergonomics and consulting with large corporate organisations on the impact of the work environment on individual health and wellbeing.
Lucy is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and is passionate in treating all manner of injuries. Her particular interests include knee, ankle and shoulder injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. She looks to utilise exercise rehab, manual therapy (including dry needling) as well as education for her patients on active recovery.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys running, pilates, hiking and playing touch football to keep active.
